DIAMOND SHIRAISHI GINZA Exhibition
Two People , One Promise
Concept: Kumihimo – knotting rope
“Kumihimo” (くみひも) is a traditional handicraft with a long history.
It involves interweaving and twisting individual strands of thread,
creating a bond between people,
connecting people to the divine, and embodying the flow of time.
“Kumihimo braids individual strands of thread,
which are initially disordered, into a gathered, formed, twisted,
and connected weave.
” Two People , One Promise .”
A pair of wedding rings, like the red string of fate, becomes a ‘token’
that symbolizes the covenant of love between two people,
embodying the significance of life and eternity.
Ginza Shiraishi, since its establishment in 1994, has been a pioneer in the Japanese wedding ring industry. Providing wedding ring commitment services and experiences to over 900,000 couples, it is one of the largest diamond jewelry brands in Japan. This time, they have entrusted Chiii Design to upgrade their brand.
The brand image design concept is derived from "Two People. One Promise" and the diamond's "O." This "O" represents an eternal and unchanging commitment to love. Chiii Design conducted a brand upgrade around this core concept, extending it to the brand's DNA, graphic elements, typography, and visual system. Finally, they integrated this core concept and brand elements into a brand experiential space.
